i made this pie to jessy's b'day party on sat. i tot i made it too much and too big. B-U-T in the matter of minutes, the dish was empty. i didnt even had my chance to eat.haha
so on popular demand and it's delicious taste, i am blogging about it's recipe.
ingredient:
1 clove of garlic chopped
1 big bombay onion chopped
celery ( if not favoured may b substituted with button mushroom) diced
carrot stick diced
potatoes diced
tomatoes ( place it in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. remove skin) diced
minced pork
minced beef
5 tb spoon of tomato sauce
2 tb spoon of oyster sauce
1 ts spoon of sugar
salt and pepper to taste
optional:
parsley
black pepper
topping:
potatoes
butter
cream
salt and pepper to taste
1) prepare the ingredients. those tat need chopping chop it. those tat need to dice then dice it. the meat that need to b minced than mince it.
2) put the potatoes(topping) to boil until soft.
3) in another pan, heat the pan. put in 2 tb spoon of oil.
4) stir fry the garlic and bombay onions till fragrant under medium heat.
5) stir in the minced beef and pork. under high heat, stir fry it for 10-15 minutes.
6) add in the vegetable. add a lil water JUST A LIL (mayb 1/5 of a bowl) if too dry. (caution: in the process celery produces water.)
7) add in tomato sauce, oyster sauce, salt and pepper, sugar, parsley, black pepper.
8) simmer it for 20 minutes. stirring from time to time.
9) once cooked, place it into desired dish ( suppose to be one that can be place into oven)
10) as for the topping, mash the potatoes up and add in the rest of the topping ingredients.
11) layer the top of the dish with the mashed potatoes. just a thin layer enuf the cover surface.
12) bake in preheat oven 180'C for 2o minutes or until surface turns brown.
13) if desired, put a lil cheese of own choice b4 baking.
ps: the amount depends on ur size of serving. use ur estimation skills ya.
pps: too much of work, well i may consider cooking it as a side income. ask me when u need to eat one.
