when i was about to blog just now, i realised i haven been blogging lately. been lazy. quite.
so i decided to blog after my comp been really putting attitude and being slow nowadays.
it's about food again. oh well, food makes me happy.
we (me.bie.shin) went dragon-i for lunch on last sat. his idea. i tried to postpone it since at nite got bbq and we went for hk chee cheong fun in the morning. the same morning. but no avail.
so we went.
it's my 1st time thr. dragon-i is famous for shangai cuisines. there's branches in midv, leisure mall, pyramid (i think). i went leisure mall wan.

dish 1#siu long pau.
*shys* it poof-ed into the mouth b4 i was reminded tat i brought camera
it's a small mini pau with those "har gau" dim sum skin and it has meat-y fillings inside and spoonful of soup.
mummy went with granny the next few days. she stuffed the pau in and the soup burnt her. tat big kiddo didnt remember to blow her food. hahaha.
dish#2 la mian? some mee la..
the fried chicken is quite nice but the la mian a bitttt "ching"

dish 3# steamed rice.

quite nice. smells fragrant.

dessert1# double pear with almond i think.

sweet but not too sweet.mine!!

dessert2# honeydew sago

urmm..not tat nice. blunt taste

dessert3# mango pudding

the dishes there urmmm.. are cooked with a very mild flavour. mayb cause i like strong flavoured food so the food there was almost mind u ALMOST quite tasteless. it had their style. now i understand why shangai ppl has nice complexion.

I went Fig & Olive ytd with li and nickie.

it's in Sunway Pyramid and that mall is not tat big. if u cant find tat shop u really can die. oh not yet..u can use the directory...
neways food thr are at a reasonable price and it comes in a okie serving.
at 1st when the food was served..
nickie: whoa the serving so small wan ah?
then at the end, she cant finished almost. freaking stuff-ed full leh. the serving looked small coz they filled the whole plate up with food.

eh nickie, u get from here la the oh-i-looked-sweet pic. haha

v side ordered olive delight too. it's like a mini pizza with olives, mushrooms, rich flavoured tomato paste and corned beef and cheese..yummy.

and the food thr seriously okie lor. the pasta i had was quite vege la but the sauce was fab. soooo nice. it tomato sauce but diff from wat i had b4. the fish was fresh and still hot and crispy when they serve it. good

on sunday, it was my family day. it has been a while since all of us are buzy with our own things. it was pretty last minute plan especially when daddy decided to forgo his badminton session and join us. coz usually he wont. he is pretty into the badminton thingy even tho he plays few times a week. guy thingy kekononyer.

out of all makan places thr, v went Carls Jr. it was my 2nd time having it last week.seriously i seldom eat fast food with my family. i think i had one time of burgers king with daddy plus a couple times of mcd with him and tat ends the list. mummy more flex but she's a health freak so it bold the SELDOM word too.

mummy actually said this is a healthy fast food. well not much of fried stuff other then fries.

oh i have have to mention the Heinz ketchup is SUPERB. v finished more than 12 packets. super rugi for them to have us as customers. haha

v adore it.

and..my dad got no skills in eating burger. seriously. one bite on his burger he was holding it so tightly everything messed up. the mayo all over his mouth, the vege coming out from the sides of the burger. all of us laughing AT him.shhh...no one tells him tat. man ego. haha

btw, Carls Jr. didnt not pay me for it. i simply love it.

i love my steak done medium. i once told nickie next time i want my bf to kno how i want my steak to be.haha.

well tis is not sooo badly craved. i had once recently when i was out with family for our dine out last sat. v went milwaukee in balakong and i ordered tat. it was okie but not fantastic.
best with mashed potatoes.i lovie mashed potatoes. wheee~

no.3# tiramisu

i really really adores cheese cake.tiramisu now.badly wanting it. marvin mentioned just a minute ago tat Just Heavenly has fantastic tiramisu.

i tried calabria restaurant. it is next to milwaukee. very original taste and smooth texture. worth the pirce.

no.4# mini fruit tarts

small enuf to pop into my mouth.yummy.

so i went syama's hse on wednesday. she's so nice to invited me along.

queenie, mummy's 1st born being a pig she is came down to hunt for a meal when she finally open her eyes after a long sleep at noon.

down she came, after her wash up.

then she choose a piece of chicken's thigh of chinese medicine flavour out of 6 pieces of 2 flavours thr(another wan is black pepper. i tot can have the black pepper wan later), took some veges and rice and off she enjoyed her lunch in front of the comp.

yum yum~

then she is still hungry. so she went back into the kitchen. wanting to claim her-so-tot-chicken.
TO HER UTTER DISSAPOINTMENT!!!! mummy said one each onli.

then queenie's eyes caught her mummy cutting one piece of chicken for the D-O-G-S!

mummy: one each onli lar, dun eat so much lar
me: still hungry lar mie
mummy: enuf already, go eat bread outside. tat is how u shud eat
me: eh, the dog eating one piece of chicken and i am also having one piece of chicken. what is tis equal treatment ah?
mummy: dog also need to eat ma
me:*stunned* dog and me sharing same food now same mummy

*speechless*

then the poor still hungry queenie went out to eat her bread. while blogging this she puts the bread aside, and the dog still wants a share of her bread.

needless to say, queenie with a fast sweep saved her bread and dog go away in dissapointment. haha

behold for queenie has found her new targetted baking project.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x9 inch pan.
In a medium bowl, mix together the egg, milk and oil. Stir in the sugar, cocoa and flour, mix until smooth. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

i love mochi. it's sort of like a dessert. the outer layer of is made of pulut flour i think plus some colouring. it's not too sweet and it's nice.
i never let any chances of enjoying it whenever it's in front of me. it's one of my fav. food
but good things dun come often. if i am not mistaken it's onli during september for mooncake festival.

i went ikea,ikano,the curve, cineleisure ytd. sounds lk lots of place. quite lar but it's all together. for once i feel shopping is tiring.

going out with crazy parents made my crazy day.
1# went ikea for lunch. bought 3 sets of salmon dish and 2 kid's spaggeti. i luv the plate's colour.
didnt get to take the sammy's pic. they ate it before i can sit. neways the kid's spaggeti are eaten by MY DAD!! (kid no. 1)
food: spaggeti quite nice. but it's lk almost plain tomato sauce. but sammy was nice with the appealing brocollis.


2# then went to big apple for tea time. bought 6 colourful donuts and got 2 free. my mum caught hold of her choco-nut donut and took ultimate possesion of it. she even refuses to share with us AT ALL!!!
food: donuts are slightly smaller than dunkins and kinda too soft. flavours are nice. love the mango tango. but still prefer the bigger and more solid dunkins.

3# went kenny roger's for 2nd teatime.
4# went for dinner in uncle lim's almost half and hour later after 2 time of tea break.

5# v passed by the pic for mastercard add i think. mummy insisted v posed for it. i got the girl bie got the boy. coz actually parents wanted 2nd twin to b a boy. so she's the boy. i feel shy btul!

i really wonder who's the small kids at home actually.
ps: this cake is really really nice. i need to get it whenever i am in ikea. consider this no. 6# coz mummy made qcie went and buy another one just bcoz it's nice. the Q was sooooooo long and qcie have to go thru it just for a piece of daim cake. haha
food: the cake is superb. the daim choc on top was nice. it's cold and sweet. shud try.
